A break in the coloring madness! My first Alterable!

Hi everyone, how are you all? I just wanted to stop in and post my very first alterable! Now, I know it's not the best thing you've ever seen, but, hey, it's my first one! I think it turned out pretty good! I also would like to congratulate the Limelight DT winners! Congrats ladies, your work is beautiful and you all deserve your spots on the team! Part II- Almost there!

Ok! So , here we are again! I am so glad you came to visit! Let's just say, I'm half way there! So you didn't waist your trip here. I really have to thank my kids for being so good today, so I could get this far. Now, the Bellas are just 3 1/2 x 5 JATC's. I am involved in a swap over at Bellaholicsanonymous and that is what they asked for. The Totally Cool girl is a regular card and I have to say, one of my fave, up to his point. One thing I must tell you is that I love making lots of stuff at one time! My brain just starts working and I get all these ideas and........ man, what fun! All those chances to create something, I am always anxious to see how everything will turn out! I hope you'll tell me which one you like and your opinion on this project so far. I really value what all of you have to say, it really means a lot to get the feedback. Well, I didn't hear what you all were up to, so make sure to clue us in. My DH was home today for a short while and he was running around here like a crazy person! We are trying to get organized for vacation and he's a bit stressed I think. We are going to Myrtle Beach 8/9-8/16 and this will be the first time in almost 2 years! He really needs the time off and I will love the change in scenery, you know? I am not quite "Beach ready", but maybe next year, that can be my goal. The goal this year is to have fun and relax. Just enjoy family time. It will be fun to see how the twins do at the beach. When we come back I will have to share a few pics with you all. Be ready for a few that are non-stamping photos! Haha! I don't like to blab on about my family, since you guys don't really know us. I figure I will just add a few bits here and there, so eventually you will get to know us. That sound fair? As I have said before I like to share. I also like to meet people and make new friends. Part I of my coloring madness!!

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great night! As I had promised, I am back. I was playing with my new markers tonight. Now, I thought it would be neat to show you my before and after and see what you thought! I was a coloring fool tonight and boy was it FUN!! However, I have found that I am in need of MORE colors! Haha! Can you believe that? More colors, me? Nooooooooooo! Yes, of course me, I neeeeeeeed more colors! I did the best I could with what colors I had. So, I have posted my pics here for you to critique the coloring job and tomorrow I will post the finished product for your review and further comments. Sound good? I think it will be neat for you to see the process. So, what have you all been up to this weekend, so far? It goes so fast, I think, doesn't it? I am anxiously awaiting the outcome of the Limelight Papercrafts DT call. How about you? It should be exciting! She has lots of cool things to play with over there and those things would prove to make some pretty awesome projects, I believe. Anyway, have you visited the Bella, Em? She is offering a great giveaway on her blog that is definately worth the trip! She just seems like such a nice person! If you look below, you will find a link to her blog. Cool Cat!

Good evening ladies! How are you all? I missed everyone yesterday! I had planned on posting something for you yesterday, but, well I got tired! Gee, imagine that! Anyway, my card tonight was created with inspiration! My inspiration came from Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts! She posted a card that was very simplistic and I loved it so much, I went for my own simplicity!! I hope you enjoy! Don't forget that there are just 2 days left on the Limelights' sale! I just hope that someday Em will make one with short hair! I used to have my hair super short and spiked, but, have tried to let it grow. Well, I have been attempting this, since I was prego with my twins. By the way, they are now 13 mos. old! Hello! I just need to go back to what I know and love, short spiky hair! Ok, everyone, I did not realize until AFTER this was done, how much it looked like Christmas. So, I guess I will use it if someone is ill, around that time! Haha! Hello there everyone, how are you? Well, I am anxiously awaiting my new Prisma markers! I am too excited! Since I am PATIENTLY waiting, I decided to play with some of the other things I have received, in the last week or so. The first card I did is to the left here and I really am happy with how it came out! I used my new Sugar Nellie stamp, which was designed by Rachelle Anne Miller. I got it thru http://www.funkykits.co.uk/ and I think the delivery slip actually said, Scotland, how cool! I saw a card, made with one of these stamps, in the SCS Gallery; I went on a mission to find them! Imagine that! If you look toward the bottom of my page, to the right, you will see another one of her images! She is such an awesome illustrator!! She was kind enough to allow me to post her image here, on my page, with a link to hers! I love to share with all of you! I happened upon her blog one day, by accident, and I am so glad I did. She has a new line of stamps coming out, thru Stampavie. I think I spelled that right, if not I will have to come back and correct it! Anyway, I got this cool SU DSP from Marsha on SCS and I also got the ribbon from her; she's so nice. I found these photo holder tabs, by Queen & Co., at ACM. I love when everything comes together! I used my Prisma Pencils and my Stickles, of course! I love how this card opens too. Hope you enjoy it! I am going to list my others on different posts; told you I was playing!

My first Bella with Prismacolor Markers!

Hello everyone, how are you all this evening? Well, I didn't have as much time as I wanted to, to play with my new things!! I had soo many ideas and as usual, soo little time! Haha! Well, of course I could not wait for my birthday order of NEW Prisma markers, so I went and purchased 2. Two, count them, two!! Haha! I guess I just wanted to get the hang of it before they came. I wanted to be prepared, you know? I just didn't want to spend the almost 4 bucks to get them, if you know what I mean! I LOVE these markers! WOW! What a difference. Now, mind you, I am a SU Demo and I do have ALL of the SU markers; but, they are different! I can't explain it. It's almost as though they are easier. Does that make sense? Don't get me wrong, I do still like my SU markers, but, I feel I will use them for other things. For coloring in my images, I will have to use these! I love that crisp look! So, now you know why this card has 2 main colors. Haha! I also used my new metal plates and my new primas. The blue Prima that came in the container, with the brown, did not match very well; so, I used the white flowers I got from my SCS Secret Sister. I hope you enjoy my card as much as I enjoyed making it! Can't wait to play some more! hey, if anyone knows of a cute Chick stamp, let me know. I would like to make a card with a chick image and my new Friendship stamp. I hope you all are having a great weekend and Mandy, I hope you are having a BLAST at CHA! Until tomorrow, sleep tight!

Hi everyone, how are you? I just want to thank all of you for your kind birthday wishes! I received emails and PM's on SCS. It was really great! I wanted to have a card to post for you today, but, I didn't get a chance. I will have one for you tomorrow. I'll have to, because I got so many cool, new things! I received money for my birthday and boy was it fun to spend on me, for a change! LOL! I think I hit every craft store nearby and my mom was nice enough to babysit. I am so excited to put all those things to use, you can't even imagine! It's always the little things that make me so happy. I got the coolest brads and a clear Inkadinkadoo cat stamp set! I got 2 different huge punches at ACM; they were originally 20$ a piece and I got them for 5$ a piece!! Icouldn't believe it!! Go check it out! I got those metal plates to put on your cards? I have always wanted to try them. Oh, let's not forget the BIG bottle of assorted Prima flowers! Last but not least, my loving husband let me order some Prisma markers; my very first ones! Yay! So, my job now is to make something awesome, to share with all of you!! However, you'll have to wait for the markers, thet are coming from that Dickblic website. Before I go I need to tell you about a friend I made on SCS, at least I hope I can consider her my friend. She has been one of my inspirations, in this whole blog thing. Her name is Brandi and there is a link to her blog,Barely Banana Days, at the bottom right of this page. She is very talented and helped me to find the designer of my blog. You HAVE to check out her blog, because she just posted the most beautiful card EVER!!! She has soo many COOL things posted and has really encouraged me in my craft! She always has a kind word for me and I really appreciate her for that. HI everyone, how are you? I hope you all are well! I wanted to share another card with you today. I only have a bit before my family gets here. We are having dinner, to celebrate MY birthday! Imagine that! Although I am getting older tomorrow, I feel happier than ever. Isn't that the way it should be though? Anyway, I made this card with my Gruffies Warm and Fuzzy stamp. Isn't he cute? Hey everybody, how are you this week, so far? I am great!! I just got done making this card and I LOVE it!! I received some ribbon from a SCS friend, Marsha, and decided to use it; now that I have the hang of it! LOL! I also just got this cool stamp and sentiment from Stamping Bella! How cute are they? Of course I had to use the Stickles from Limelight Papercrafts and my DSP from SU! You know the pic doesn't do them justice. I am sooo bummed about the whole IN COLOR thing. I mean, the colors that are going to retire are AWESOME! That always happens to me though. Everytime I like something, it gets discontinued for whatever reason! It happens to me a lot at bath and body works too. Anyway, I used my new Prisma Pencils, which I love, and my GOO GONE! Thanks to the ladies on SCS for schooling me on that! I think I said it before, I am coloring everything in sight!! Ok I should probably get going, since it is fairly late. Just had to share this card with you! I need to figure out how to list the Labels or rather Companies I use, so people can find it if they want to. I will work on that fo ryou all until next time, I hope! Hi all, me again! LOL! I had to sneek this in! I put the twins to bed and I wanted to play with my NEW CC Designs stamp!! Say hello to Glam Girl Shari, isn't she great?! I love this stamp; it just fit with this double sided American Crafts paper. Don't you think?? I am really trying the ribbon thing, can't you tell? I also got to use some dew drops that I just received recently ina swap. I never had these before, VERY cool! This all just seem to go together and I love when that happens! My CS base is the retired SU Eggplant Envy. Check out those sparkled glasses! I love the bottle of Stickles I got from Limelight Papercrafts; I can't stop using it on everything! Thank you sooo much Mandy!! Well, I'd better get to bed. I just loved how this turned out and wanted to share. Night, night all! Sleep tight! LOL!

Another new project!

Okay, I have found that if you click on these, you can really see the detail a lot better. That being said, you will have to click on the one I listed below too!! Although I did not do this today, I really wanted to share it with you! I love the Stampin' Up Pomegranate CS; it's a shame it will be retiring! At least the stamp set I used, Pricelss, will not; as far as I know! The card below I did earlier today, when my friend Tara came over. My other friend, Bernadette came over later and we didn't really make anything, but, I was able to share a lot of cool stamping stuff with her. I really enjoy sharing what I love to do! There are so many cool things out there! I want to try them all, you know?? Bernadette's daughter is in the same Brownie troop as my Kyah, so they really had fun too! I am working on an altered box ; I can't wait to get done with it and share with all of you , the finished product!! Well, my husband is finally home from work, so until tomorrow, I hope you all have a great evening!

A new project!

Well, here is one of my projects, from my stamping day! I love it! I was showing my friends what you can do with a bunch of scraps! I love the inside of the card too!! It matches! Imagine that, me, matching! Haha! Anway, I used my new Inkadinkado stamps. Ihad gotten 3 of them, that match of course, from a local stamp store. Unfortunately the stamp store, Rubber Buggy, is closing! I have another one to post, but, I think I will post it on another post. Putting them together just wouldn't do them justice!

Hi everyone, how are you? Ok, so I added a new template to my blog. I need your opinions ladies! The one I really wanted costs money, of course, and I am not sure if it is really worth it. Applications are due by Thursday, July 24, and I will announce the new design team here on the blog and on the site on Monday, July 28. Here are the deets...WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME AS A DESIGN TEAM MEMBER?This is a three-month commitment, August 1 - November 1, 2008. Create at least five cards or projects per month using several products carried by Limelight Papercrafts. Then, just post good-quality digital images to your blog and in online galleries, and talk up the store whenever and wherever you can! You would not need to send your creations to me, unless you just REALLY want to. You can use them for whatever you'd like. So if you need to make a birthday card for your Aunt Bertha, make her card using our products, and you'll kill two birds with one stone. (Not that I am a big proponent of killing birds with stones... My first card posted

Hi all, how are you? I hope you all are well!! I think I am figuring this thing out! Here is a card I made with the awesome new Beach Plate I got. I love PinkCat Studio, obvioulsy due to the whole cat thing, and they have great images. I ordered it from a great online store, www.limelightpapercrafts.com and you have to check it out! The owner, Mandy is a wonderful person to deal with and I know you will be pleased with your purchasing experience! I am so glad I am finally trying to do this whole Blog thing. It should prove to be a lot of fun. The twins are taking their nap, so I had a little time to say hello. I have made so many new friends since I have gotten the hang of this and my last post. I want to say a special hello to my Bella Sistah, Javapinkabella! She is a real great person and very talented with the card making and such! I also just received a great card to day from my new friend Jennifer (Janay on SCS). It is a beautiful card and I thank you so much! I will see if I can upload it for you.
