MARKET STREET GUEST...............

Hey all!! How are ya? I thought I would stop by and share another Market Street Stamps creation! As you know, I was SUPER excited to be chosen as their GUEST DT for the month of MARCH!! Can you believe it is Friday the 23rd already? Whew, where did THAT time go?! I tell ya! It was such an honor to create with the Market Street girls this month! They are SO talented!! In my first project I shared a Krafty Kard and I colored that Krafty image, along with some distressing!! Well, this one is NOT a whole lot different, as I am STILL stuck on those things!! Copics, Kraft cardstock and Market Street Stamps! Ahhh......what could be better, huh? Seriously, I ask you?! The only thing that changed THIS time around? I decided to use some colored cardstock too! Imagine that! I used the brand NEW set HOME SWEET HOME and a GREAT "go to" background, A BIT OF BURLAP! I used the Burlap stamp for BOTH Kraft backgrounds! I stamped it with Old Paper Distress Ink. Hey, you know....that Home Sweet Home set won't be SO brand new for long!! Market Street has some MORE new ones coming your way SOON!! I am SO excited!! Be on the look out!! I am told there are some CUTE ones!!

Ok, so....instead of coloring on the Kraft? I tried coloring on the patterned paper!! I wasn't too sure what to expect, BUT, I was pleasantly surprised!! I believe this will be a NEW addiction, for sure!! I think it really adds some dimension to this cute little abode!! I even decorated the inside of my card! I used a die cut that matched the patterned paper I chose! Igt is actually called a journaling card? Hmm.....who knew?! Haha! I also used Shape stickers that matched my DSP too! All of them are from The Thrift Shop line, from October Afternoon! That October Afternoon stuff is growing on me, I believe! I finished my project with some distressing and some Twinery Twine! I used the Old Paper Distress Ink for the distressing and the Lemondrop Twine as my twine choice! You can find the FINE details below!! GUEST DESIGNING!

Woohoo!! I am SO excited to be sharing with you today!! Thanks SO much for stopping by! I am sure you all know, I have a LOVE for Kraft cardstock! Well, I have a LOVE for Market Street Stamps TOO!! I mean, don't we all?? Especially Market Street, huh? SO many different possibilities!! How could you NOT love them!! Seriously? Anyway, you can understand my delight, when they chose ME as their MARCH GUEST DESIGNER!! How COOL is that?! Right?
Here is my FIRST creation, as their GUEST!! What could be MORE appropriate? BOTH of my LOVES!! I used my NEW Kraft PRE-made cards/envies and the SUPER cute, COMPUTER CUTIE!!! Again, TONS of possibilities, ya know? Besides, the sentiment itself is AWESOME!! I stamped Miss Cutie with my Tuxedo Memento Black and colored her in with my Copics. Then I layered ,my Kraft base with some of the MATCHING patterned paper scraps!! Yep, did I mention that those PRE made cards had a "matching" set of scraps to go with them?! You betcha! I bought those and I was SET!! I used my Spellbinders to cut out the scraps and my MFT Say What Die! Stuck on that MFT die at the moment, imagine that! Once that was all put together, the edge of a few distressed with SU Real Red, I finished it with my FAVE Twinery Twine and a red Twinklette pen!! I used the Maraschino to match everything! Again....surprise!! Haha! Me and that "matchy-matchy" thing! Well, I hope you like and hope you will stop back to see what else I have for you this month, from Market Street Stamps!! LAST MINUTE BLOCK PARTY!!

Hey all! How is, or should I say WAS, your weekend!! It's a WEE bit late here, on this Sunday night!! I sat down to clean up my craft area a bit? AND......found myself stamping!!! Surprise, right? Haha!! What can I say......I JUST can't help it!! I saw my MARKET STREET STAMPS and they were calling to me!! SO.......I decided I would see if I could join the BLOCK PARTY!! What is that you ask?? Oh my, you HAVE to check it out!! Look at this!!

Now, trust me! After reading this?? Given my LOVE of MARKET STREET STAMPS?? He-llo!! It was a NO brainer!! SO......here is MY little creation for this month's MSS BLOCK PAR-TAY!! Woohoo!! Hope you like! For, I SURE had fun creating it!! I used my COOL, new pre-made Kraft cards and envies!! I stamped the MSS VINTAGE MUSIC background stamp with Memento Cocoa and distressed the edges with the same. After this was done, I set it aside to stamp and color my guitar image from the MSS HIPPIE CHIC set! I LOVE this set, did I mention that? I used my Copics to color her in and even outlined it a bit with the same colors, along with texturizing it a bit with my "0" colorless blender!! Which, by the way, is ANOTHER fave of mine! I used my PINK Atyou Spica pen to highlight the dots and swirls on the guitar! OK, I cut out the guitar with my oval Spellbinders and distressed the edges with my Memento Cocoa. After all this was prepped, I cut out 2 DIFF pieces of DCWV Playground DSP! and layered them onto my Kraft base;took some pink sorbet Twinery Twine, distressed it a bit, and wrapped it around everything!! Nothing finishes a project like TWINE!!! At this point? All I needed was a sentiment! Well, this called for one from the MSS SIMPLE JOYS set!! I stamped it in the same Memento ink and cut it out with my Spellbinders Pennant dies. To complete my creation I added the sentiment and popped up the guitar image! VOILA!! My BLOCK PARTY creation!!

Happy Tuesday friends!! How are you? We are having an overcast day here today! Although it is a BIT grey? It is on the warmer side!! SO? I'll take it!! Haha!
I have been working on my craft area here lately. Trying to get it BETTER organized? If there is such a thing! In doing this, I created a drawer for images that I have colored already AND those that I have colored along, with coordinated papers already! Normally it is the latter, for if you kow me? You know that I ALWAYS, ok 95% of the time, pick my papers out FIRST before I even start coloring!! Anyhoo, I decided to pull from that drawer today! I wanted to create a little something? AND?.......play with my NEW camera!! Haha!! What a GREAT combonation, huh?
Well, when you have these things in mind, you should have a sketch to go with your creativity!! Right?? Right!! I mean......a sketch is JUST a guide, isn't it?? I perused the internet and here is what I found!! It was DEF fun to play along!! You can CLICK on the sketch to play along too!!

Of course, here is MY take on this CUTE sketch!! WITH my new camera, OUTSIDE!!


I used the SUPER, groovy HIPPIE CHIC set from MARKET STREET STAMPS!! This set is WAY cool and SO versatile!! I combined my image with the MSS sentiment set called, SIMPLE JOYS! I LOVE this set!! My papers are from DCWV and the cardstock is Cocoa from PTI! I used Spellbinders Ovals to cut out my image and a MS grass punch to do my grass. UDDERLY AMAZING!!

HAPPY MONDAY friends!! How's it goin'? Some of you may have off today!! ENJOY!! I wanted to come by for a QUICK bit and share a MARKET STREET creation!! I did this a few days ago and shared it over at the Market Street Neighborhood? SO, I thought I should share it here, as well!! If you haven't stopped by the NEIGHBORHOOD, you must!! SO much fun and inspiration going on there!! Just CLICK the words above to take you there!! Alrighty, here is MY creation! A simple Kraft creation, using the FOR ALL IT'S WORTH & BIT OF BURLAP set, along with PUNNYLICIOUS from MY PINK STAMPER. Made with Kraft pre-cut cards and scraps from Michaels, along with SU Real Red CS. Stamped with Memento Lady Bug and Rich Cocoa ink. Finished off with Kaiserkraft pearls and altered Twinery twine. I took some Antique Linen Distress Stain and distressed my Maraschino twine! I LOVE how it came out to match!! I was anxious to use the Punnylicious sentiment, so I added it at the end. Hello there all, how are you? What's new? We are ALMOST half way through the week!! WOW!! Hey, have I mentioned, lately, how MUCH I am loving these Market Street Stamps?? Oh my!! Can you say.......ADDICTING?? Haha! ABSOLUTELY! So, all that being said? Guess what I was creating with the other night?? Can you guess?? Why, of course you can!! Check out my latest MSS creation!! Amigas? I just LOVE it!!

I found an AWESOME sketch to follow somewhere out in blog land and away I went!! I layered PTI Kraft, PTI Orange Zest, and DCWV Indian Summer DSP! I used my MFT Small Scallops Die and my SU Tag punches! I stamped the Market Street Stamps BFF Set and sentiments from the Market Street SIMPLE JOYS set with Tuxedo Memento Black ink!! That SIMPLE JOYS set can be used for EVERYTHING!! I swear it!! Anyway, I colored the ca-ute Chilli's in with my copics and finished the whole thing off with some AMAZING Twinery Baker's Twine!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Hey all!! Happy Monday to you!! I am SO excited to share my creation today AND.......... I am not! Haha! Just like me, right? Excited because, I KNEW right away when I saw this set? That I could use it to make a card for my mom!! The set is called GONE CAMPIN and it is from MARKET STREET STAMPS!! My mom got a cute little camper, JUST like this one (ALMOST), not too long ago! She was SUPER excited about it! SO what more appropriate image would there be for her birthday card?! That AND I got the AWESOME sentiments set? That set is called SIMPLE JOYS!! PERFECT touch!! The FINAL reason I couldn't wait to share this with you? I LOVE how the coloring turned out!!! Now, I know I said that I also was NOT excited to share? I have ONE reason for this!! I am just NOT sold on the layout!! Haha!! Funny how that happens, huh?
Oh well, know what? SO...... doesn't matter!! Know why? Because ALL that matters is that my mom? REALLY liked it!! YAY!! I mean, with the economy the way it is and having THREE kids? You REALLY learn to appreciate the LITTLE things!! Know what I mean? Although I have ALWAYS been a HUGE fan of the LITTLE things? It is times like these, that seriously enforce that for me!! It was my mother's birthday and she was celebrating 60!! That and 60? Meant that I have know her ALMOST 20 years now!! WOW!! Cannot believe it!! I know, I know........you are confused, right? That's ok.......for that story is a long one and will have to wait for another time! Haha! Anyway, this "card" was MY present to her and I had planned it to a "T"!! The image was AWESOME and so was the sentiment!! I LOVE when that happens!! AND? SO explains my addiction to stamps!! Whoops! Did I say addiction? Why......YES.....yes I did!! Haha!! What can I say? Life is TOO short!! Enjoy the LITTLE things!!!
