THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL!!

Hi everyone, how are you today?? Well, I have to say that here? It is SO YUCKY!!! Rain, rain, rain! We are just hanging out today, since it's too mushy! Check out this card?? I just got the new set of IMAGINISCE stamps. They are called THE FAIREST OF THEM ALL collection! There are at least 3 or 4 others. I can't remember them all, but, they are WAY cute! Don't you think?? I made this card for the birthday party, my Kyah went to, on Sunday. I also used my new Aquapainter. Definately will take some practice with that thing!! It doesn't take much water to use it and it can drip if you are not careful. However, I LOVE the different look it gives your projects. It really gives it a softer look, I think! Oh yeah, for this card, I used my Fiskars Threading Water punch. I LOVE that too! I am so glad I am accumulating some tools for my card making. It makes it MORE fun, without a doubt!! Having more options is GREAT, isn't it?? Now, that's not to say that you can't make an AWESOME card with only a FEW things, because you most certainly CAN!! I am just saying it's a TON more fun!!! I hope you like this card as much as I do! I used Stardust and Frost white Stickles, to add a little sparkle. I smeared some of the Frost along the bottom and put the dots of it there too. The Stardust I used for accenting the Castle and Carriage. Ok, I should get going; I just wanted to share this card with you!! Hope you have a FANTASTIC day!! Can't wait to share with you all again!! WOJ CARD AS PROMISED!!

Well, this is a quick post,since it's so late! I wanted to share this card with you, because I was just thrilled with how it came out! You know how that is, don't you? I used my new Whiff Of Joy stamp, that I received from Cheri. Thanks again Cheri, I love it!!! She is sooo CUTE!! I also used my new COPIC marker for shadowing, also from Cheri. How do you like that DP? It is K & Company; it's a Designer Mat Pad, by Amy Butler. I LOVE the patterns and colors of this paper pad! Let me know your thoughts! AN AWARD & A MAN CARD!!

Hey there everyone! How are you?? I hope you all are well. First I would like to thank my dear friend CHERI for the award she gave me, which is above. I am to give this to those that inspire me. However, I feel that I took so long with posting this, that those I would give it to already have received it. So, I am posting this award in thanks to CHERI and to give it to all of you who have really been an inspiration to me. To those of you who have really given me great words of caring,kindness, encouragement, & support. To those of you who have sent me such WONDERFUL surprises, in the mail!! Just because! To those of you who have shared with me! You know I LOVE to share! As I have said before, I am so blessed to have met such wonderful people! Thank you to you all and I hope you will continue to visit here with me!

Ok, so here is my card for today; I hope you like it! My BIL's birthday was a while ago, but, with everything that went on with our lives, schedules, the funerals, and school issues, this did not get done until now. Life sure does get in the way, doesn't it? My BIL and my DS had their first child back in April. They had a beautiful baby boy and named him Gavin. Now, since they had their son, monkey's have been the THING! So, I HAD to make a Changito card!! I LOVE the paper, even though I know it's just stripes. The colors are GREAT and it looks weathered, which is COOL! Of course the paper is BASIC GREY! Who would have guessed, right?? I think it's man enough, don't you? Given their THING for Monkey's? The paper helps, I think, oh well! I like it anyway! Man card or not! Hehehe! Must be the Changito THING! Haha!

LONG TIME NO SEE!!

Hey there everyone?? How are you all?? I hope you all are well! So sorry I have been MIA! It's been hectic around here and my MOJO was MIA too!!! Haha! Thank you ALL for your kind words of support!! My stepson is coping, I believe. He spent some time with his girlfriends' family, before and after the funeral; I think that helped.
I hope you like my card, I was really happy with how it turned out! I don't know if you can see, but the candle has Stardust stickles around it; it really makes it pop! Of course I used my new Nesties, I love them! I paper pieced the chef's pants and hat with SU Pretty In Pink DSP. Do you see the grey around his feet? I am working on the whole shadowing thing. I used my VERY FIRST and ONLY Copic marker!!!! Yeah!! My AWESOME friend, Cheri, sent it to me! Guess what else she sent me?? My VERY FIRST and ONLY, WOJ stamp!! Can you believe it?? How nice is she?? She must have known I needed a "pick me up"! I am so blessed to have a friend like Cheri! Thanks so much Cheri!! I am so blessed to have met all of you!! I would like to leave you with a card I made for my DH's son. Well actually it is for his son, Eric's girlfriends' MOM. Ok, did you follow along there? It has been a little somber around here. To make a long, long story short, Eric (my stepson) was dating a girl for quite some time. He met her at RIT, in New York. They lived in the same dorm and that's how they met, several years ago. Ok, I am getting into story mode, sorry. She had Cystic Fibrosis and was in the hospital for the past 3-4 months, awaiting a lung transplant. She passed away on Sunday afternoon; she was soo young and soo smart. She was absolutely AWESOME with Kyah too. It is so sad! Although I know she is no longer suffering, it still is tough. I didn't get to see her a whole lot, but when we did see her she was always so nice. She was also, always, so attentive to Kyah. I think it's even more sad to know the life this young lady could have had. From what I understand, she and Eric were making plans for the future. So, if you would, please keep my stepson in your prayers, that he may get throught this tough time. My DH did not want a card that was depressing, he wanted a classic type card with no sentiment. He wanted something "pretty", as he put it. So here it is. I hope you'll like it. I know it is plain, but, I think it is classy. I had gotten some embossing powder, on my last ACMoore trip and I used it here, for the first time. I think it is a beautiful color. I also used my Kaisercraft Pearls, in Pewter, that I got from LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS. I really LOVE these pearls! I thank you all for stopping by and hope you'll visit again. The stickers are PebblesInc. from LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS; I think they are sooo cute!! The sentiment is from my, WAY COOL Bella Sistah, Carri and CTMH. I have never used rub-ons before; all I can say is, how COOL!!! I LOVE the ribbon too; it's American Crafts and the color is GORGEOUS!! They call it Navy, but it is almost closer to the SU Not Quite Navy CS I used on this. I guess I was having a blue week this week!! Haha! Oh yeah, I also used my NEW Nestibilities!! Yay!! I only got the Classic Oval and Classic Scallop, but, you know? I should have gotten more!! I should have known I would become addicted!! Hehe!! Oh well, with how much they cost, it's just as well! Right!! What do ya think?? Do you like it??

STUFF & WHIFF OF JOY!!!

Hi everyone! How are you?? So sorry I didn't post yesterday and that my last one was so short!! I have been fighting a cold or maybe even allergies!! It just kind of knocked me out the past couple days; it was all I could do to even post on Friday night!! Anyway, I am starting to feel part human, so here I am!! I had to post my organizer again (below), so you could see that I added ribbon. I just had to share, because I felt it was missing something and I wanted you all to see it! What do you think?? Better?? Ok now that I got that out of the way!

Since I am feeling a slight better, nothing better then to take my 50% coupons & head to Mike's and ACMoore!! I figured, they are right across the parking lot from each other, so why not??? Right?? Hehe!!! Well, you guessed it, I packed the 3 kids in the car and off we went!! I was sooo excited, you should have seen me!! Haha! I love getting STUFF!!! Even if it is just the little things! 'Cuz that's the STUFF that thrills me the most!!! I love it when STUFF comes together!!! You look at everything and sort of see how it all will go together. Wether it's STUFF there or STUFF you KNOW you have at home!! I have this habit of knowing EXACTLY what STUFF I have at home!! Silly, right? I just do. I don't know.

Ok, put my STUFF story and what I got in the mail together?? And this is what you get(above)!! I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this card!!!! Don't you?? My DD, Kyah, and I got AWESOME happy mail yesterday!! My GREAT friend Kim, at Craftsbykim, sent us a HUGE envy with 2 plastic bags in it. One with Kyah's name on it and one with my name on it. How SWEET of her to think of us!! You should have seen how THRILLED Kyah was and still is!! I will share with you what all was in our package next time, 'cuz I don't want this to get too long for you all!! Haha! One of the things in my bag was a STACK of images!! She knows me so well!! I love them all!! Anyway, this card was made with my STUFF, from today, and a COOL image from Kim!! Oh yeah and I used sand paper on the music paper! Ha! The first time I tried it!! I didn't have one of those blocks, so I stole my painting sand paper!! LOL!! Way cool!! Hope you like it!! I will stop babbling, sorry! Check it out and tell me what you think!! By the way, I didn't have all the DP to match this that I wanted, so I made my own! Haha! Real Quick Post!! I Altered My Card Organizer!! I LOVE that Unity Stamp!!

Hi guys and gals!! Real quick one for you tonight! Sorry! I was just TOO excited about my project, to wait until tomorrow!! I have been staring at my card organizer for quite some time and tonight I decided to stop staring!! Stop staring that is and start doing!! Now, keep in mind, I made it to match my kitchen and my kitchen is black,orange & red; for the most part. Just like the last one I did, it took on a life of its own!!! MY FIRST UNITY CARD!!!!

Hi everyone, how are you? Your families? Hope you are well!!! So, I am sooo excited to share this with you tonight!!! I have made my FIRST card with a Unity Stamp!! I just got my order from LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS and I received my first 2 stamps from Unity!! I have seen sooo many cards made with the sentiments from Unity, that it was hard to choose just 2!! Of course I had to use my FAV paper by Basic Grey!! However, I did get some AWESOME paper from Kaisercraft!! That stuff is VERY pretty too!! What can I say, I am a DP freak!! Haha!! Proud of it too!! Hehe! I also used Kaisercraft Pearls, from Limelight, in Pewter! I love how they match everything and the ribbon does too! Sorry, I got the ribbon from a swap on SCS. Which really is too bad, since I LOVE the ribbon!! The other thing I NEED to point out is that I actually embossed the sentiment!! I haven't embossed for years; I forgot how elegant it can look! Not to mention how cool!! Luckily I had A container of embossing powder; the color happened to be Platinum!! Imagine the chances of that?? Now, I think I will be NEEDING some others, especially a clear of some kind!! Haha!! NEED!! That always makes me laugh, no matter how true it may be!!!
