I cannot take all the credit for this one. My artistic brother, Brent, was over today; I was complaining about my coloring and the whole blending thing! I showed him some of your work and then mine; I told him I wanted to get better at it. So, he proceeded to school me a bit in the whole color thing. He really should have gone to art school, he is super talented!! You guys should see some of his sketches! I keep bugging him to draw me stuff, so we can turn his illustrations into stamps. He just kind of chuckles at me! Oh well, I will just keep trying! Anyway, this image is one of the ones he colored in, while explaining everything to me. When he was finished, he said "Here you go, make something out of this"; and so I did! I hope HE likes it! I think I will use it for one of the many anniversaries coming up this month. My anniversary is the 18th and there are at least 4 other couples right around mine. So, those of you who do, don't be suprised if you see this show up in your mailbox! Hehe! MY FIRST SKETCH CHALLENGE!!!!

Hi everyone! How are you all? Quick post tonight! Sorry! I just had to post this though. Here is my very FIRST Sketch Challenge!! Yay me! Right? I never really attempted it, because there is so much talent out there. Well, you know what I mean; besides, I don't have all the gadgets either! Haha! That being said, please excuse my oval, for I used a template and cut it freehand; so, it is not as pretty as most!! Hi there everyone, how are you?? It's finally here!!! Yay!! I get to share with you all what I have been up to!! Ok! I posted a new badge here, under contact me. Do you see it? Along the right sidebar? Well? That's what I have been up to!!! Michelle at Shabby Creations was AWESOME enough to help me out! You know I have to match! Haha! When I saw the Sweetnsassy forum, I loved it! While I was there, I noticed you could start your own. So, you all should know me by now, I had to try it. Well once I got started, I couldn't stop! Hehe! I thought of all the possibilities and all the FUN! So...............I did it and I hope you will come and join me!!! Maybe someday, maybe................when I am smart enough to just do it, I'll start my own store!! I am not sure how and there are too many talented wonderful women out there already doing it. See, I wouldn't want to take away from any of them. I would have to find my niche, ya know? Find something to carry that they don't. I wouldn't want to carry the same things as those other ladies, out of respect, ya know? Something though, just something! Ahhhhh..........there I go dreamin again! Haha! Who knows maybe in a couple of years or maybe if I could get my brother or step son, who are both super talented artists, to draw me some things that could become stamps. Happy Birthday Little Lilly!!

Hello everyone, how are you? Well, the long weekend is all but over. I hope you all had a great time! I was hoping to be able to share my news with you, but, I am not quite ready yet! Almost though! I think by tomorrow evening, I'll be ready! Sorry to keep you waiting, but, it's just not ready yet! Ok, onto my cute little Lilly! So, what do you think? I thought about adding some more embellishment, but, I think it sparkles enough and I don't want to take away from that. I also didn't want to add too much and make it look too gawdy, ya know? Well, as usual, I just wanted to share her with you; hope you like it! Of course to take Lilly home to your house, you will have to visit Mandy at Limelight Papercrafts! I cut out the little green flower, by her foot, and boy was that a challenge! Me and scissors have issues sometimes! Especially with small precise things! LOL! I used my DCWV mat stack again; I just love them!!! I think next time I will try and get the 12x12 instead of the 6x6. That way I have more to play with! Hehe! I made this card for one of my DD's Kindergarten friends' sisters. Did you follow along there? Kyah is now in 1st grade, however, she still is friends with a boy from last year. He has a cute little sister, who has a birthday this week! So, of course, the perfect opportunity to make a card; using Lilly! I just love the Pinkcatstudio stamps! I think their images are soooo cute!! I have my eye on that Tweet set! I am really liking that one! Anyway, I hope you all are well and I am so glad you stopped by! Seize The Cupcake!! and Prisma Fun!!

Good morning everyone and happy Monday! Well, I am sure it is happier for some more than others. Huh? Those of you that are here in the US probably have off today and those of you who aren't probably don't. Anyway, I was having fun again last night, can you tell? The card above was way overdue. I'll tell you why. I have been wanting this Seize The Cupcake set, from Hero Arts , for a loooong time. I just got it a little bit ago and put it away in a drawer. It has been calling for me ever since! I just love the saying, that was the selling point for me. Let alone those cupcakes!! Gotta love the cupcakes,right? I had gotten another set,by Stampendous, but, it just wasn't the same. Now the other set is just sitting in the drawer and it's pretty quiet! Hehe! I was trying to come up with a different type of layout. I am happy that it looks different from my other cards, which means I succeeded with the layout dilema. As I have been saying, I need to change it up! So do any of you have exciting plans for today? A cookout perhaps? My family and I are going to see my family today. Well, my dad's side that is. We are fortunate enough to have a pretty big family. The cupcake card was not all I made last night, of course. I wanted to try my hand at developing a scene, with a stamp set, and coloring it in with my Prismacolor markers. There was a great copic tutorial on Suanne Dean's blog, Scrapbitz.blogspot.com, and I wanted to try her teachings. Her coloring is beautiful, you should check it out. Now keep in mind, I used Prismas instead of Copics. The whole Copic thing is a little pricey for this mom of 3. As awesome as I am sure they are. So, I have been slowly trying to collect some Prismas. I have posted the card below and your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated!! Any critique would be welcomed! Remember though, I am still learning, so be nice! Haha!!

Well, what do you think? This set is Mindy's Zoo, by Autumn Leaves, and I have definately had it for a long time! It needed some love! The "Enjoy Life" stamp is from Stamping Bella; I received it from my awesome SCS friend, Kelli. She sent me a bunch O Bellas and this was included! She is so generous! What a great person! She sent me way more than she should have! I am very lucky to have great friends like her and all the others I have made along the way! Alright enough sappy stuff, right? I guess I will start preparing some things for our outing today! I hope you enjoyed the cards I have shared today! As the card above says "Enjoy Life"! Late Night Cardmaking Fun!!!!

Ok, so here we are again! How are you? Hope you are having a GREAT holiday weekend! I will make this short today, since evreyone has a lot going on, including me. I just have a few minutes before my family and I have to leave, to spend time with my DH's family. I had so much fun last night creating these cards, I can't even tell you. I was up rather late, to get the time to myslef, but it was worth it! I got to play with my new Limitless Limbs set, by Pinkcatstudio, that I got from LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS. Gotta love this set, go see Mandy to get yours! It proved to be a bit challenging for me, at first, but then again I do tend to be a perfectionist! Hmmmmmmmmmmm, me? Yeah, me! Haha! Anyway, I also got a new House Mouse stamp and I knew as I was buying it, who I was going to use it for. My sister collects Charming Tales adn for those of you who son't know what they are, they are cute little mouse critters. So, the card you see at the top, coincedently my fav, is for her. I hope she likes it. I have been telling her to check out my blog, but, she is really busy. However, maybe now I have spoiled it; she has seen it before I have gotten a chance to give it to her. Or not! I just had to share it. Ok, I had lots of cards to make for my family and new stamping friends. I am not finished with all, but, these are a few of them. End of Summer!!!

Hi everyone, how are you? Hope you all are well! I made this card as a tribute to the end of summer! Hehe! It was raining out today and very dreary! So, I had this image, that my awesome Sistah Javapinkabella (Kim), sent to me; it was just calling out my name!! It seemed fitting, since summer is almost over! To me, I feel like it already was over, on Kyah's first day of school. Anyway, I hope you like the card! I was trying, as I said before, to use different layouts. You just get stuck in a rut sometimes. I have really been trying to change it up! I wasn't too sure about this one, I think I like it. LOL! What can I say, I'm picky! I wanted to use polka dot BG paper, because of Bikinibella's suit. I thought the CB embossing folder would match too. Oh, well here it is! I think I like it! Haha! So, we don't have any major plans this weekend; how about all of you? We have a cook out at my dad's on Monday, but, other than that, nothing else. Well, at least not yet, you never know. I want to let you all know to keep visiting now and then, because I will soon have an exciting announcement to share!!!! YAY!! Good afternoon everyone, how are you? Well, this is unusual for me, to post during the day. However, I came home from work early today. My MIL was to come and watch the twins, so my husband could go to work. Last night we received a call around 12:30 am that my FIL was being taken to the ER! He was in AFIB, which caused his blood pressure to go funky! Now, you must understand that about 10 yrs ago he had bypass surgery. I can't remember how many, but, I know it was pretty serious. He has been doing pretty well since then, as far as we know. The Er checked him out and all his readings had gone back to normal, so they sent him home. Although he is home, I felt it only RIGHT that my MIL stay with him today and NOT come to my house. I would want to be with Eric, if something like that happened to him! I work for an awesome lady, who feels your family comes first, which is really amazing in this day and age. Dr. Cantwell, my boss, has twins also! Haha! Anyway, she told me she understood and that was really great of her; the other girls in the office were very understanding about it too! So, here I am, during the day, talking to you all! Hope your day is going well; it sure is nice here in PA. There is a great breeze! Ok, so here is my card for today, I hope you like it! Call me silly, but, I made this card for Kyah's busdriver! She is a super lady and I like to thank her for taking care of my daughter, to and from school. Precious cargo, ya know? There I go again rambling! I used my new Sweet Treats set, from Pinkcatstudio, that I got from Mandy at LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS. I was trying to add a little something to the embossed Pomegranate layer; I smeared some stickles on it. I am not sure what I think about it though. What do you think? Let me know! I also used my Just Johanna sentiment for the first time and I love it!!! Have a yummy day! Haha!

Good evening everyone and thanks for stopping by! I had so much fun last night, with my teacher card, that I had to make another tonight! I had this BG paper from either Mike's or ACM, I can't remember, but again, I knew exactly which stamps I was going to use with it. Now that, last sentence was probably not punctually correct,dad, but, it's not an English paper or business letter, right? It's just me gabbing! Haha! Which I am very good at! I believe I may have even passed that down to my oldest daughter! LOL! Anyway, Billy, from Pinkcatstudio is one of the stamps I had in mind. I really love how this card turned out! Don't you love when that happens??It makes you want to keep at it, ya know? It gives you the confidence to try again. I have really been trying to change it up lately; I want to try new layouts. I have a bad habit of doing the same thing over and over. Now wether that is being safe or just liking a layout, who knows. Since you all are probably getting to know me a little better, did you expect anything other than what is on the back of this card?? Haha! I used the paisley from the SU set Wanted. Doesn't it just match that BG paper to a T? Love it! Well, I have received an award from my dear Bella Sistah, Kim, at Craftsbykim. She is so awesome; I am so glad to have met her. She has awarded me, my award, the Javablu Award! Which really means a lot to me, because the meaning behind the award means a lot to me. So, thank you so much Kim and I will post my award and recipients tomorrow. I need some time to post all the stuff for those involved, ya know? How are all of you tonight? How was the first day of school, for those of you who had it today? Kyah had a great time and I did too, when I went in this afternoon to help out the new incoming Kindergarteners and their parents.
