A KRAFTIN' KIMMIE SKETCH!

Hey all!! How are ya tonight!! Stopping by with a KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGE! SO excited about THIS one!! I don't know that I have EVER gotten to play along with the Krafty Girls!! Here is their challenge for this week!

I actually had this image colored up for a WHILE now!! It was in my little bin of stuff that was READY to be turned into SOMETHING?? Woohoo!! Do you have one of those bins? I am SO glad this image got turned into a card! The image is CHARLOTTE from Kraftin' Kimmie and the sentiment is Kimmie's too; it is from the EVERYDAY SENTIMENTS! I have had these, I SWEAR, from the beginning! Well, let's just say they were among the ORIGINAL Kimmie's!! I LOVE them!! However, I MUST admit? They NEED more LOVE!! That is something I will DEF need to work on!! Haha!
Now, I wish I could remember EVERYTHING about the ingredients, BUT, like I said....it has been sitting here for a WHILE!! Poor thing!! There it was in a little bag, cardstock, DSP, and colored image! Just waiting!! Haha! Let's see.........I used PTI Raspberry Fizz cardstock and Basic Grey DSP. I punched out the sentiment with my SU Word Window punch and embossed the PINK strips of cardstock with my CB Seeing Spots embossing folder! Oh and I usually am able to list, for ya, my Copic colors? Wanted to stop by and share my CA-ute owl! I made this CAS creation with an image drawn by the TALENTED Jenny Suchin!! You HAVE to visit her,you know!! Just sayin'!! This owl is part of an entire set she did for The Craft's Meow, called WHOO'S BIRTHDAY!! I LOVE this set, can you tell? Hey and know what is even better?? There are MORE? Yepper!! SEVERAL more owl sets!! Woohoo!! What is NOT to LOVE about that?!! I ask ya??!! The sentiment I used is from the Paper Smooches set WORD SALAD!! That Paper Smooches is GREAT for UNIQUE sentiments!! Gotta LOVE that too!!
Anyhoo (sorry that had to be done) I decided that this sweet image had to stand out! So, I went the SIMPLE route!! Just the image and the sentiment on Georgia Pacific White, layered onto SU Bliss Blue!! Stamped with my trusty old Memento Tuxedo Black ink! Well..................ok..so I added some clouds!! Alright...........some embossed clouds! Haha! I used my Seeing Spots CB Embossing folder AND my MFT Cloud die!! A HUGE thank you to my BESTIE, Robin Van Acker, for that AWESOME die!! Besides the folder and die? I used a BIT of my fave twine, in Stone, from The Twinery!! Voila! Oh yeah............................I did color that OWLIE in with my Copics and a Twinklette pen or two! A SISTERHOOD CREATION!!

Hey all!! How are ya? Hope you are having an AWESOME weekend!! I was hanging out over at the STAMPIN' SISTERHOOD blog and thought I would stop by and SHARE here too!! I don't know if you know this, BUT, I have a LOVE for Kraft cardstock!! So, when I found a PRE-MADE card and envies set at ACMoore? I had to get it!! Imagine......50 cards and envies!! How could you go wrong? Well, I have been using them like CRAZY!! So much so? I have been trying my hand at "Copic'ing" them!! Haha!! How d'ya like that one? Huh? "Copic'ing"? LOVE it!! As I said over at the Sisterhood? That one is going to STICK, I tell ya!!
Anyway, I decided I wanted to continue my QUEST of the Clean and Simple thing! And? Here it is.........................

Whatcha' think? Cool, huh? I am SO psyched with how it came out! I MAY have to try some DIFF versions of this! You know.....maybe even a set? Perhaps?? Alright, here is the SCOOP on my Krafty Kreation!! I stamped some flowers from the Rubbernecker WILD FLOWER SET SKU 465 with Tuxedo Memento Ink, onto a pre-made Kraft card, and colored them in with my Copics. Then I cut it out with my Spellbinders Ovals and distressed the sides with some Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Once that was done, I used my Spellbinders Labels 6 to cut out a MISC piece of patterned paper (sorry it was a scrap and I don't know the name). I distressed that with the same Walnut Distress Ink. I then took ANOTHER pre-made Kraft card and, AGAIN, distressed it with SAID ink! Haha!! After the Kraft card base was distressed, I added my sentiment from the SAME WILD FLOWER stamp set! Once everything was ready, I combined it all and added some of my FAVE twine! You guessed it, my Mandarin twine was distressed as well!! Only difference was that I distressed it with not only Walnut Stain, BUT, Old Paper and Spiced Marmalade too! Those inks are also TH Distress Inks! I HAD to distress the twine, for it did NOT quite match! AND................we all know how I am about the "matchy-matchy" thing!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! Hope you are having a FABULOUS day! Just wanted to stop by and share a BELATED Valentine with you!! I have been SO crazy busy that I KNEW this would be late! My poor God Daughter must think I am SO lame!! Given the whole LATE thing, I KNEW right away which set I was going to use! I was SO excited to break this one out! I used my NEW Paper Smooches Chubby Chum Pals set and my Paper Smooches Word Salad set!! I LOVE the Paper Smooches stamps! They are so .............. hmmm ................ FUN? Yes, FUN is the word I am looking for!! Check out their store and you shall see what I mean!! These CA-ute images are SO fun to color in too!! See? The word of the day is...... FUN!! Haha!
Anyway, after I was finished coloring this Crabby with my Copics, I looked for a sketch to follow!! Check out what I found!! BEAUTIFUL sketch from Crazy For Challenges!!


AWESOME!! Sketch in tow, I grabbed some K & CO 12x12 ZOO DSP(valentine type from last year), PTI Cocoa cardstock and got to work!! I finished my creation with some brown Kaiserkraft pearls and Twinery Twine! Gotta have TWINE!! Haha! Hope you like! Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon!! A SWEET MONDAY!!

Good morning friends!! What's new? Anything exciting? I am watching my nephews today and cleaning up around the house a bit! I figured that this would be a GREAT time to visit with you, since EVERYONE is glued to LITTLE EINSTEINS!! Haha!
I wanted to stop by and share a creation I had made for the recent Paper Crafts Mag CALL! Although this did NOT get picked up? I think it is pretty SWEET! I paper pieced my vespa/moped with Fancy Pants Beach Bum DSP, to match the SAME that I used on the background! Imagine that, ME......"matchy-matchying" it!! I used the SCOOTIN' BY stamp set from the SWEET STAMP SHOP!! SO ca-ute, this set is!! You should check out the OTHER sets that Nicole has to offer, for there are LOTS to fit EVERYONE'S taste!! Especially if your taste? Includes SWEET STAMPS!! Haha! Sorry, I HAD to do it!! That? And.............Nicole herself is awfully sweet TOO!! You will be MORE than thrilled with your purchase AND the customer service......for sure!! Anyways, I stamped the image with Tuxedo Memento ink and colored it in with my Copics! LAST MINUTE BLOCK PARTY!!

Hey all! How is, or should I say WAS, your weekend!! It's a WEE bit late here, on this Sunday night!! I sat down to clean up my craft area a bit? AND......found myself stamping!!! Surprise, right? Haha!! What can I say......I JUST can't help it!! I saw my MARKET STREET STAMPS and they were calling to me!! SO.......I decided I would see if I could join the BLOCK PARTY!! What is that you ask?? Oh my, you HAVE to check it out!! Look at this!!


Here's what you have to do:

Now, trust me! After reading this?? Given my LOVE of MARKET STREET STAMPS?? He-llo!! It was a NO brainer!! SO......here is MY little creation for this month's MSS BLOCK PAR-TAY!! Woohoo!! Hope you like! For, I SURE had fun creating it!! I used my COOL, new pre-made Kraft cards and envies!! I stamped the MSS VINTAGE MUSIC background stamp with Memento Cocoa and distressed the edges with the same. After this was done, I set it aside to stamp and color my guitar image from the MSS HIPPIE CHIC set! I LOVE this set, did I mention that? I used my Copics to color her in and even outlined it a bit with the same colors, along with texturizing it a bit with my "0" colorless blender!! Which, by the way, is ANOTHER fave of mine! I used my PINK Atyou Spica pen to highlight the dots and swirls on the guitar! OK, I cut out the guitar with my oval Spellbinders and distressed the edges with my Memento Cocoa. After all this was prepped, I cut out 2 DIFF pieces of DCWV Playground DSP! and layered them onto my Kraft base;took some pink sorbet Twinery Twine, distressed it a bit, and wrapped it around everything!! Nothing finishes a project like TWINE!!! At this point? All I needed was a sentiment! Well, this called for one from the MSS SIMPLE JOYS set!! I stamped it in the same Memento ink and cut it out with my Spellbinders Pennant dies. To complete my creation I added the sentiment and popped up the guitar image! VOILA!! My BLOCK PARTY creation!!

A MID-DAY HELLO!

HOWDY!! How are you, on this , day BEFORE Friday? Haha!! It's ALMOST here!! The WEEKEND!! Ahhh....that and CHA!! I ALMOST made it there this winter!! SOON!! I just HAVE to ....................................soon!!
Ok, so.....I thought I would stop by and share a creation I made, while Guest designing for Christian Papercrafts!! The theme was back to school? You know me and the whole SCHOOL thing!! I LOVE making school type creations!! Kyah's teachers seem to like them TOO!! Haha!
I took some SU Real Red CS and layered some GP White CS. I stamped some FUN apples and a sentiment from my PAPERTREY INK ........Teacher's Apple stamp set!! I used SU Real Red and Tuxedo Memento Black Inks. I finished it off with some Maraschino Cherry Twinery Twine and a misc school house charm I had! Although it is NOT my typical creation?
