ANOTHER CHALLENGE, WITH PAPER and SUCH!

Happy Tuesday friends!!  Thanks for stopping by!  How are you?  SO, what have you been up to these days?  Anything exciting??  Hope you are having a FABULOUS summer thus far!  
Today I would like to share a SUPER cool challenge that is going on over at PAPER AND SUCH!!  If you are not familiar, PAPER AND SUCH hosts a challenge TWICE a month on their blog!  And believe me....they are DEF fun!!  Besides, what is NOT to like about having a chance to WIN a little something?!  You can find out ALL the details and see some AWESOME inspiration, by venturing over there for a visit!  Just CLICK on their NAME above!  That being said I will leave you with MY take on the challenge!  I used the NEWLY released HEART STRINGS set, along with my pennant die and my pin cushion die!  I completed my creation with Jillibean Homemade 6 Bean Soup patterned paper and PTI cardstock!  Well that, mixed in with a little green sewing thread and SU buttons!!  Hope you like and I cannot wait to see what you come up with!!

IT'S A PAPER AND SUCH CHALLENGE!

Well, good morning everyone!!  How goes your week THUS far?  I know, I know.....it is ONLY Tuesday!!  BUT........it is a NEW day!!  Woohoo, positive thinking!!
OK, so I have another FIRST for you all today!!  Today is a NEW challenge over at the PAPER AND SUCH BLOG, which means my FIRST challenge creation for them!!  This week's challenge is quite appropriate for the month we are in!  It is to.........................

USE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE!

Easy, right?  You betcha!!  Although for a pink person like me?  It proved to be DEF interesting!!  Haha!  I decided to give my CAS skills a shot again!!  As you all know, I am working on that!  SO, here is my challenge creation!

I used the NEWLY released HEART STRINGS set, along with my Copics!  I have seen many projects that utilize a simple border like mine and have been DYING to try my hand at it!!  I used my Spellbinder Squares and my Black Copic Multiliner!  I stamped the CA-ute little house first than lined up my die and traced the line from there!  I then took my Copic colors and laid them down on my acrylic block.  I used my "0" Copic as a paint brush and picked up the colors off the block to paint onto my image!  LOVE how it turned out!  This is a challenge you NEED to play along with!  I mean, seriously?  Who does not LOVE creating and having a chance at a PRIZE!!  You can find ALL the details over on the PAPER AND SUCH BLOG!!   Not to mention some AWESOME design team inspiration!!  To play along, all you have to do is CLICK ON THE CHALLENGE BUTTON, on the right hand side of the blog!! Hey there friends!  How are you?  Long time NO talk!!  SO much going on here, I don't even no where to begin!!    Since this is the case, I will dedicate THIS post to my FIRST bit of news and come back to share some MORE later!!  I am SUPER psyched to share with you that I am the NEWEST design team member over at PAPER AND SUCH!!  How COOL is that?  Right?  Very excited to be working with my friend JULIE!!  She has such an AWESOME store and is such a GREAT person!!  Thanks JULIE for having me on your team!!

I LOVE how this turned out!!  I found just the RIGHT patterned paper, to go with the HEART STRINGS set, and just the RIGHT color embellishments too!!  The DSP is homemade 6 bean soup from Jillibean Soup and the buttons are Basic Grey!  As I am ALWAYS doing the "matchy-matchy" thing?  When I could NOT find the RIGHT color twine or ribbon?  I used some sewing thread!!  Haha!  Matched perfectly!!  LOVE it!  This NEW set is SO versatile!!   You will DEF have all kinds of uses for it!!  Hope you like it as much as I do!!  Thanks for stopping by and your NEXT stop is the FABULOUS  JANICE!!  I know she has something AMAZING for you!!
