SISTERHOOD MOTHER'S DAY HOP!

Today is an EXCITING Saturday, because it is the Stampin' Sisterhood's Mother's Day HOP! Now, as I am sure you know.........Mother's Day is NOT only for Mother's, right? Of course NOT!! Mother's Day is to celebrate that person who is SPECIAL to you too!! The Sisterhood has put together some creations to inspire you! We are SO glad you could join us. Ok, a LITTLE about my creation, before you go. I used a direct to paper technique, to create my background. To make this happen, I ran distress ink right across the Kraft cardstock! My teammate Ellen did this a BIT ago? And I HAD to try it!! Thanks for the inspiration Ellen! After that was done I stamped my image and sentiment with Tuxedo Memento Ink. I finished the card off with some distressed charcoal Twinery Twine and Perfect Pearls mist! The Twine was distressed with Spun Sugar distress ink; the mist was made with Biscotti Perfect Pearls and water, in a mini mister! I added some extra photos, hoping to show you the effect? However, I don't know that they do the sparkly mist any justice!! Haha! Hope you enjoyed your stop here and now you must follow the ROUTE below to your next destination!! Have FUN!! MARKET STREET GUEST...............

Hey all!! How are ya? I thought I would stop by and share another Market Street Stamps creation! As you know, I was SUPER excited to be chosen as their GUEST DT for the month of MARCH!! Can you believe it is Friday the 23rd already? Whew, where did THAT time go?! I tell ya! It was such an honor to create with the Market Street girls this month! They are SO talented!! In my first project I shared a Krafty Kard and I colored that Krafty image, along with some distressing!! Well, this one is NOT a whole lot different, as I am STILL stuck on those things!! Copics, Kraft cardstock and Market Street Stamps! Ahhh......what could be better, huh? Seriously, I ask you?! The only thing that changed THIS time around? I decided to use some colored cardstock too! Imagine that! I used the brand NEW set HOME SWEET HOME and a GREAT "go to" background, A BIT OF BURLAP! I used the Burlap stamp for BOTH Kraft backgrounds! I stamped it with Old Paper Distress Ink. Hey, you know....that Home Sweet Home set won't be SO brand new for long!! Market Street has some MORE new ones coming your way SOON!! I am SO excited!! Be on the look out!! I am told there are some CUTE ones!!

Ok, so....instead of coloring on the Kraft? I tried coloring on the patterned paper!! I wasn't too sure what to expect, BUT, I was pleasantly surprised!! I believe this will be a NEW addiction, for sure!! I think it really adds some dimension to this cute little abode!! I even decorated the inside of my card! I used a die cut that matched the patterned paper I chose! Igt is actually called a journaling card? Hmm.....who knew?! Haha! I also used Shape stickers that matched my DSP too! All of them are from The Thrift Shop line, from October Afternoon! That October Afternoon stuff is growing on me, I believe! I finished my project with some distressing and some Twinery Twine! I used the Old Paper Distress Ink for the distressing and the Lemondrop Twine as my twine choice! You can find the FINE details below!! SISTERHOOD MONDAY!

Hey all! What is NEW? I am sitting here with the sliding glass door open and enjoying the AWESOME breeze that is drifting in!! I cannot believe it is SO nice out! Did we SKIP winter this year? I mean..........really?? WOW!
Anyway, for those of you who may not visit the Stampin' Sisterhood? I thought I would share my creation here! I had shared this over at the Sisterhood last week or so. I just LOVE how it turned out!! RUBBERNECKER sure offers a WIDE variety of stamp sets! I ended up giving this to my sister for her birthday! I warn you though, before you peek? I am STILL a little stuck on the PRE MADE Kraft cards/envies! Haha! SO, if you have had enough of them? BEWARE!! Here is my card, hope you like it!

Well? Watcha' think? Is the KRAFTY thing growing on you yet?? OR....the distressing thing, for that matter!!! I am about out of those pre-made cards, imagine that!! I will NEED to get me some more, for sure! Alrighty, my time is up for today. I must grab some lunch, before I go and pick my nephew up at pre-school. Once that is done? The CRAZYINESS starts! MOJO MONDAY ON SUNDAY!

Happy Sunday friends!! What's up?! It is ALWAYS amazing how FAST Sunday gets here each weekend!! Isn't it? I would like to start by saying that my thoughts and prayers are with those effected by all those HORRIFIC tornadoes!! May you and your families be safe!!

Ok friends I recently received another PAPER SMOOCHES stamp set!! Can you imagine that?! AND......I can't decide which one is cuter!! Haha! All of the SMOOCHES images are SO, CA-ute!! I always find it HARD to pick one!! Haha! I will just have to work on using them ALL!! So, after I colored my little PS image in with my Copics, I set out to find a sketch! I have a FEW challenge sites that I LOVE to frequent and here is the one I chose for my creation! Check it out!


Mojo Monday!! COOL, huh? You could go round OR square!! Gotta LOVE that! I chose SQUARE! The image I used is the PEAS image from the VEGTASTIC set! If you haven't seen this set? You NEED to go and peek!! Although, I warn you......you will want MORE than just that ONE! Anyway, I layered my PEAS onto Georgia Pacific White cardstock and Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DSP!! That's DEF another thing that is growing on me, COSMO CRICKET!! I used Tuxedo Memento Ink to stamp my image; Cottage Ivy Memento to stamp the sentiment and distress the edges of the dark layered piece! My MFT Scallop Die cut out the peas DSP. I completed the creation with some Creative Memories flowers, which I have had FOREVER, and misc white ribbon! Oh....and the centers of those flowers have small green Bella Dots in them, from Stamping Bella!! LOVE those dots, you can use them EVERYWHERE!! Alrighty! I am off to see about a few groceries! Hey friends!! Back again with a drive by, FLY by!! Haha! I had forgotten that the creation I had to share with you, was from this past week's SKETCH SATURDAY!! Uh....HELLO? Tomorrow IS Saturday!! You know, like in 10 minutes?? GEESH!! SO, I thought I had better get with the program and post this!! Hope you like!! My creation and the sketch are below! I created this with one of my TGF Wild Sprouts! It has been WAY to log since I have done anything with my TGF stamps!! They NEED some LOVE, I am tellin' ya!! Now of course, for the life of me? I cannot remember her name!! AND............as luck would have it, I went to The Greeting Farm's website? AND.....................cannot find her!! Geesh!! I am doing good here, aren't I?!! Man! So the LINK I have for you, will take you to their site and directly to the WILD SPROUTS!! There are LOTS more to be found, so don't worry!! Anyhow, I colored her in with my Copics, then layered her on Smoke PTI cardstock and MME Lime Twist DSP! I LOVE this DSP, just wish I could find more of it!! Haha! GUEST DESIGNING!

Woohoo!! I am SO excited to be sharing with you today!! Thanks SO much for stopping by! I am sure you all know, I have a LOVE for Kraft cardstock! Well, I have a LOVE for Market Street Stamps TOO!! I mean, don't we all?? Especially Market Street, huh? SO many different possibilities!! How could you NOT love them!! Seriously? Anyway, you can understand my delight, when they chose ME as their MARCH GUEST DESIGNER!! How COOL is that?! Right?
Here is my FIRST creation, as their GUEST!! What could be MORE appropriate? BOTH of my LOVES!! I used my NEW Kraft PRE-made cards/envies and the SUPER cute, COMPUTER CUTIE!!! Again, TONS of possibilities, ya know? Besides, the sentiment itself is AWESOME!! I stamped Miss Cutie with my Tuxedo Memento Black and colored her in with my Copics. Then I layered ,my Kraft base with some of the MATCHING patterned paper scraps!! Yep, did I mention that those PRE made cards had a "matching" set of scraps to go with them?! You betcha! I bought those and I was SET!! I used my Spellbinders to cut out the scraps and my MFT Say What Die! Stuck on that MFT die at the moment, imagine that! Once that was all put together, the edge of a few distressed with SU Real Red, I finished it with my FAVE Twinery Twine and a red Twinklette pen!! I used the Maraschino to match everything! Again....surprise!! Haha! Me and that "matchy-matchy" thing! Well, I hope you like and hope you will stop back to see what else I have for you this month, from Market Street Stamps!! A KRAFTIN' KIMMIE SKETCH!

Hey all!! How are ya tonight!! Stopping by with a KRAFTIN' KIMMIE CHALLENGE! SO excited about THIS one!! I don't know that I have EVER gotten to play along with the Krafty Girls!! Here is their challenge for this week!

I actually had this image colored up for a WHILE now!! It was in my little bin of stuff that was READY to be turned into SOMETHING?? Woohoo!! Do you have one of those bins? I am SO glad this image got turned into a card! The image is CHARLOTTE from Kraftin' Kimmie and the sentiment is Kimmie's too; it is from the EVERYDAY SENTIMENTS! I have had these, I SWEAR, from the beginning! Well, let's just say they were among the ORIGINAL Kimmie's!! I LOVE them!! However, I MUST admit? They NEED more LOVE!! That is something I will DEF need to work on!! Haha!
Now, I wish I could remember EVERYTHING about the ingredients, BUT, like I said....it has been sitting here for a WHILE!! Poor thing!! There it was in a little bag, cardstock, DSP, and colored image! Just waiting!! Haha! Let's see.........I used PTI Raspberry Fizz cardstock and Basic Grey DSP. I punched out the sentiment with my SU Word Window punch and embossed the PINK strips of cardstock with my CB Seeing Spots embossing folder! Oh and I usually am able to list, for ya, my Copic colors?
