A FEW COOL THINGS & A LIST TO SHARE!!

Hey there ladies!! How are you?? How was your weekend?? Did you do anything exciting? I just want to start off by thanking you ALL, for your kind and encouraging comments!! It was SO WONDERFUL to read them!! As I had said in my last post, I am practing and your words of encouragement mean A LOT!! Mind you, they ALWAYS do! However, it is GREAT to know I am headed in the right direction!! It was an interesting week, to say the least!! More on that another time!! I just had to put that out there! Haha! Now, tonight I have a few COOL things to share with you all!! First of all...I just signed up for a NEW Book club!! YAY!! Next to being with my family and stamping? My next fave thing is reading!! Our first book is, The Host, by Stephanie Meyer! Woohoo!! I have been wanting to read that, just needed a little nudge!! Haha! Hope it's as good as the whole TWILIGHT thing! If you LOVE to read? You have to check out Maria's blog, for the deets! You can find her blog on my sidebar!! Ok...moving onward...huh....what to share next? You know me...I LOVE to share! Oh yeah, You all should see the AWESOME NEW papers at The Greeting Farm! OMGosh!! They are SO CUTE!!! I just got mine recently and I can't wait to use them!! You NEED to check them out!! PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.......

Right?? Hello ladies, how are you? I have been practicing my Copic coloring, can you tell?? I am very pleased with how this turned out!!! I was really trying to keep it simple, due to the BEAUTIFUL background paper. Although a lot of the design is covered up, I still LOVE this paper!! No matter how I placed things? Part of it was going to be hidden. You know? Oh well! What are you going to do? This image is from my WOJ Spring kit that I had pre-ordered, some time ago obviously, because it is available now. Isn't she sweet?? I thought she was PERFECT for this paper, don't you agree? I made this card for a special person in mind. She was VERY encouraging to me, when I first got back into stamping. She is going thru a bit of STUFF right now and I wanted her to know I was thinking of her! HOpe she likes it! Speaking of STUFF, I have had my share this week as well. It really is nothing to go into, so I won't. Suffice to say, it was NOT a pleasant week! Therefore, I have not visited you all and I am SO sorry! You all are ALWAYS SO nice to leave me WONDERFUL comments!! I will make it to visiting you ALL, I promise!! A change is gonna come! Have you ever heard that before?? Well, I believe that!!

Ok.....I do have another creation to share with you all, but, it will have to wait until later. I am going to gather my list of things to pass on, "sell", and post it on my STASH blog for you all. Sometimes I get a LITTLE carried away and think I have to have EVERYTHING!! Haha!! I KNOW I am not alone in that!! When you are involved in THIS craft?? You just can't help yourself!! However, some of this stuff is not receiving the PROPER attention!! Haha! That is definately one of those things.....that HAVE to change!!

IT'S TWINKLING TUESDAY AND I AM CERTIFIED!!!!

Can I get a HUGE WOOHOO??!! As I had said in the title, I am CERTIFIED!!! YAY!! Copic Certified that is!!! I feel like I haven't visited with you all for awhile!!! HOpe you all are well!! I had to get stuff ready for my trip to Maryland, this past weekend. You know, the whole what I need to take and what needs to be ready for everyone, while I am gone?? Yepper!!! It took me a bit! See....this was the first time I have been away, since I had the twins!! YAY me!! Right?? No....but....seriously!! What an AWESOME group of ladies!!! By group I would HAVE to include everyone involved!! From Patti, the WONDERFUL shop owner, to Sally Lynn, our instructor!! All the ladies who make up The Queen's Ink family and all the LOVELY fellow Copic students!! You ALL were PHENOM and I thank you!!! It was FANTASTIC to spend my Sunday with you!!! I will have to elaborate on my class next time though, sorry!!! You know I tend to get a bit carried away!! Haha!! It is late, after all!!! Well...it's late here anyway!!! Well.....I am doing this Monday night, for a change!! Just had to give you a little bit of info, while I was here tonight!!!

Of course tomorrow is Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday!!! What FUN!!! HUH??!!! This week's challenge is to use a stamp that you have gotten and NEVER inked up!!! You know how we all are!! We just HAD to have it??? And........There it sits!!! In a drawer or on a shelf, but, it is LONELY none the less!!! So.......Bring that poor neglected stamp out!!! Go ahead.....ink it up!!!!

Ok...MY here is my take on this challenge! I used some of the techniques I learned, from the AWESOME Sally Lynn, on Sunday!!! I will continue to practice, but, do hope you like it!! This is also the FIRST card, I have made, using predominantly COPICS!!! The ONLY Prisma marker I used, was for the little doggy!! Alright, I will give you 1....ok maybe 2 ....tips I learned. Make sure to stay tuned for more tidbits too!!! Did you know........that you can use your Copic markers to color ribbon???? Heck yeah!!!! I LOVE it!!! And......did you also know......you can use your SAME Copic to color your brads to match??? Did ya?? Well?? Did ya??? All I can say is.....YES YOU CAN!!! Have at it!! You know me and the whole matchy, matchy thing!!! How psyched was I to learn this?? You can only imagine, right?? Haha!!! Thanks again for stopping by ladies!! AN MFT GET WELL!!

Hey there ladies! How was your day?? Thursdays ALWAYS seem to go quick for me!! Here we are again and I am SO glad you came by for a visit! My friend, who works across the hall from me, asked if I would make her a get well card. So....you know me.....I said OF COURSE!!! Robin is a SUPER great person, so you know I would LOVE to help her out. Anyway, I just got this new patterned paper from ATS? It is by Scenic Route? Have you ever seen this before? OMGosh!!! I LOVE it. Now you will have to tell me what you think though, ok?? REALLY!!! I just LOVED the paper SO much, that I didn't want to take away from it, too much!! Does that make sense? I ALMOST added a ribbon, but, changed my mind. I wanted you to be able to appreciate the paper. What do you think?? I hope she likes it, or even that HER friend likes it.
So, it is almost here!!! My COPIC class!! I still can't believe I got in, can you?? When I was put on that waiting list, I figured that would be all the further I would get. WOW!!!! Although I am excited beyond words, I kinda wish I had someone going along with me. Now.....don't get me wrong, I am TOTALLY fine walking into a full room, by myself. However, it would be nice to know someone ahead of time. Oh well, I am sure I will make some FANTASTIC new friends! I mean....after all...I can talk your ear off!!! Haha! The class is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away from me and it starts at 9am. I am thinkin', thank goodness it is on a Sunday!!
