Late Night Cardmaking Fun!!!!

Ok, so here we are again! How are you? Hope you are having a GREAT holiday weekend! I will make this short today, since evreyone has a lot going on, including me. I just have a few minutes before my family and I have to leave, to spend time with my DH's family. I had so much fun last night creating these cards, I can't even tell you. I was up rather late, to get the time to myslef, but it was worth it! I got to play with my new Limitless Limbs set, by Pinkcatstudio, that I got from LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS. Gotta love this set, go see Mandy to get yours! It proved to be a bit challenging for me, at first, but then again I do tend to be a perfectionist! Hmmmmmmmmmmm, me? Yeah, me! Haha! Anyway, I also got a new House Mouse stamp and I knew as I was buying it, who I was going to use it for. My sister collects Charming Tales adn for those of you who son't know what they are, they are cute little mouse critters. So, the card you see at the top, coincedently my fav, is for her. I hope she likes it. I have been telling her to check out my blog, but, she is really busy. However, maybe now I have spoiled it; she has seen it before I have gotten a chance to give it to her. Or not! I just had to share it. Ok, I had lots of cards to make for my family and new stamping friends. I am not finished with all, but, these are a few of them. Sorry to share and run, but, I have to get all the little people ready for their adventure! Hope you all are enjoying life!! Unitl next time.................................

End of Summer!!!

Hi everyone, how are you? Hope you all are well! I made this card as a tribute to the end of summer! Hehe! It was raining out today and very dreary! So, I had this image, that my awesome Sistah Javapinkabella (Kim), sent to me; it was just calling out my name!! It seemed fitting, since summer is almost over! To me, I feel like it already was over, on Kyah's first day of school. Anyway, I hope you like the card! I was trying, as I said before, to use different layouts. You just get stuck in a rut sometimes. I have really been trying to change it up! I wasn't too sure about this one, I think I like it. LOL! What can I say, I'm picky! I wanted to use polka dot BG paper, because of Bikinibella's suit. I thought the CB embossing folder would match too. Oh, well here it is! I think I like it! Haha! So, we don't have any major plans this weekend; how about all of you? We have a cook out at my dad's on Monday, but, other than that, nothing else. Well, at least not yet, you never know. I want to let you all know to keep visiting now and then, because I will soon have an exciting announcement to share!!!! YAY!! I just have a few finishing touches and then I will share it with all of you! I hope you'll stop back in to join in my celebration!! Ok, well, enough for now; time to go feed the little people. Maybe next time I'll share another pic with you! I try not to over do it with that, ya know? Have a great Friday and I'll talk to you soon! Until then.....................

Have a yummy day and an AWARD! YAY!

Good afternoon everyone, how are you? Well, this is unusual for me, to post during the day. However, I came home from work early today. My MIL was to come and watch the twins, so my husband could go to work. Last night we received a call around 12:30 am that my FIL was being taken to the ER! He was in AFIB, which caused his blood pressure to go funky! Now, you must understand that about 10 yrs ago he had bypass surgery. I can't remember how many, but, I know it was pretty serious. He has been doing pretty well since then, as far as we know. The Er checked him out and all his readings had gone back to normal, so they sent him home. Although he is home, I felt it only RIGHT that my MIL stay with him today and NOT come to my house. I would want to be with Eric, if something like that happened to him! I work for an awesome lady, who feels your family comes first, which is really amazing in this day and age. Dr. Cantwell, my boss, has twins also! Haha! Anyway, she told me she understood and that was really great of her; the other girls in the office were very understanding about it too! So, here I am, during the day, talking to you all! Hope your day is going well; it sure is nice here in PA. There is a great breeze! Ok, so here is my card for today, I hope you like it! Call me silly, but, I made this card for Kyah's busdriver! She is a super lady and I like to thank her for taking care of my daughter, to and from school. Precious cargo, ya know? There I go again rambling! I used my new Sweet Treats set, from Pinkcatstudio, that I got from Mandy at LIMELIGHT PAPERCRAFTS. I was trying to add a little something to the embossed Pomegranate layer; I smeared some stickles on it. I am not sure what I think about it though. What do you think? Let me know! I also used my Just Johanna sentiment for the first time and I love it!!! Have a yummy day! Haha!

Well, the last order of business is the Javablu Award! As I had said in my previous post, My Awesome Bella Sistah, Kim at Craftsbykim, bestowed my own award on me! That was great of her, since I know she understands my meaning behind the award! Thank you so much Kim!!

Howdy Partner!

Good evening everyone and thanks for stopping by! I had so much fun last night, with my teacher card, that I had to make another tonight! I had this BG paper from either Mike's or ACM, I can't remember, but again, I knew exactly which stamps I was going to use with it. Now that, last sentence was probably not punctually correct, dad, but, it's not an English paper or business letter, right? It's just me gabbing! Haha! Which I am very good at! I believe I may have even passed that down to my oldest daughter! LOL! Anyway, Billy, from Pinkcatstudio is one of the stamps I had in mind. I really love how this card turned out! Don't you love when that happens??It makes you want to keep at it, ya know? It gives you the confidence to try again. I have really been trying to change it up lately; I want to try new layouts. I have a bad habit of doing the same thing over and over. Now wether that is being safe or just liking a layout, who knows. Since you all are probably getting to know me a little better, did you expect anything other than what is on the back of this card?? Haha! I used the paisley from the SU set Wanted. Doesn't it just match that BG paper to a T? Love it! Well, I have received an award from my dear Bella Sistah, Kim, at Craftsbykim. She is so awesome; I am so glad to have met her. She has awarded me, my award, the Javablu Award! Which really means a lot to me, because the meaning behind the award means a lot to me. So, thank you so much Kim and I will post my award and recipients tomorrow. I need some time to post all the stuff for those involved, ya know? How are all of you tonight? How was the first day of school, for those of you who had it today? Kyah had a great time and I did too, when I went in this afternoon to help out the new incoming Kindergarteners and their parents. I will leave you with these pics of Kyah, enjoy! I would love to hear your school stories and such. Well, until tomorrow night. Y'all come back now ya hear?

Does she pose or what!!!

Back to school!! ALL DAY!!

Hi everyone, how are you this evening! Well, tomorrow is a big day for my daughter, Kyah. She is starting first grade and she will be going all day. Wow, I can't believe it! Anyway, we went to meet her new teacher, on Friday, and see her new classroom. We had never met her before, so it was nice to put a face with the name. Kyah is very excited!! So, of course, I had to make her teacher a card. I had gotten some DCWV mat stacks at Joann's; I love the mat stacks!! I have a 6x6 pad from Basic Grey that I love too. I am pretty anal about everything going together perfectly! Gee, imagine that! Me particular! Haha! Anyway, when I had gotten these, there was a Back to School one. I had to have it and I knew I would use it for Kyahs' teachers! I actually couldn't wait! So tonight, I finally made something with it! I am not as impressed with the marker job as I am with how the rest of it turned out. Although I did play a little with some blending, that made it a little better for me. I hope you like it! I have shared all aspects of this card, so you could see how everything has to match! The funny thing is, that when I was finished with it, I thought of the perfect stamp for the back. I was so psyched and it only took me a minute to locate it. I had gotten those Studio G stamps, at Mike's, to decorate my calendar and I remembered there was an apple in the Sept. set! Love it! It's the little things, ya know? Ok, so I have babbled quite enough. It is off to bed for me; tomorrow is a big day. I am volunteering at the school, to help the incoming Kindergarteners find their way around and get on the right bus. Hope you and your families are well! I'll see you soon and thanks so much for visiting! Oh yeah, don't forget to check out my new award! I have it listed below! Until next time...............................

Home from vacation!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone!!!!!!!!! I am back from vaca!! How are you all? Wow, I have missed you!! I feel like I was out of the loop!! Well, we had a great time in Myrtle Beach! Thanks for stopping by tonight; I am so happy to share these pics with you, from our vaca. However, I do not have any projects to share, sorry about that. Tonight is a non stamping post! Imagine that!! I will work on that for next time, ok? Oh, except for one AWESOME tidbit! I am trying to catch up on what I missed, while we were gone and found that I received another award from my dear friend KIM at CRAFTSBYKIM ! How wonderful, I am so thankful for my friends and their support and encouragement! You have to visit her blog she does awesome stuff!! I will post that tomorrow night for you, since I must nominate and notify the other nominees; it will take me a little time! My daughter, Kyah, had a great time, as you can see! She turned 6, while we were there! Man, I can't believe it! The twins weren't to sure what to make of everything. Kade would not get off the blanket and touch the sand for a long time! Where as
Kali, wouldn't get off the blanket at all! It was sooooo funny! I wish you could have seen them. We took Kyah to the Barefoot Landing and she loved the merry go round! It only rained one day, which I thought was good. I had taken our laptop along, but, there was no signal close enough for me to get on the net! Ackkk!!! Oh well, here we are again, back to the same old thing every day, huh? So the change was nice, for a week!! I was ready to come home and get things organised for back to school and the whole Girl Scout thing. I don't know if you all know, but, I am a Brownie troop leader, for my daughter and her school friends. No one else would do it last year and they had a troop with a waiting list sort of thing. Voila! I became a Girl Scout leader! Haha. There was a lot waiting for me to do at home, so it was good to get home to dive into everything. Besides, our cats missed us a bunch and we missed them too! My SIL was nice enough to take good care of them while we were gone. Ok enough babbling for you all, for one night! I hope you and your families are well! I hope you all enjoyed my pics! I will work on something for you, for next time, I promise! Until then......................

We took the Superyard along, which really helped!!!

My friend Riley!!

Hi all, quick post tonight, because I am behind with my packing! Haha! Oh, well, there are way worse things! Right? I wanted to share this card with you; I made it for a friend of mine. She had originally booked a SU workshop with me and it fell thru. So, she placed an order with me anyway and I thought that was great! I know Riley is a Hanna stamp, but, I thought she would like it so, that's that! Even though I am a Demo, I love stamps from all over!!! There is so much out there and I have just started learning that. I received this image from one of the nice ladies over on SCS. A little while ago I swapped images with someone on the PIF thread and she was nice enought to send me Riley and one stamped on SU DSP. She included a note that said she thought I might like to piece him together. Well, she was right and that was so awesome of her to think of that. Cutting that tent out proved to be a little more challenging than I had expected,I'll tell ya! Hey, I did it though and here he is! Don't you just love him? I decided not to add any embellishments, because I thought it would take away from the whole look of the card. Maybe next time I will use some brads or a book plate. Who knows!!! I love stamping! You can just make it up as you go! As I always say, "It's your card, it's whatever you want it to be. Your card is unique, because YOU made it."! I hope you enjoy and I hope you all are well!! Until tomorrow..............

Part III-Coloring madness complete!!

Hi everyone how are you? I am so sorry it has taken me so long to post this. I almost didn't get to post this at all! Apparently Blogger is having some minor difficulties, I guess. Here are the final images put together and some extras I added! What fun I had! The Bellas , as I said, are for a JATC swap I am in over on Bellahollicsanonymous. I can't wait to see all the ones I get back. I deceided to take the other Stamping Bella image, Best Friends Foreveh, and turn it into a card for my friend Kim. She lives in Pittsburgh and I don't get to see her too much. I need to work on a card for her daughter, my Goddaughter. I'll let you know when that's done. All the cards were made with SU CS and BG paper from either Mike's or ACM. I have used them before on other things. Of course I used Stickles and MM brads. You'll have to let me know which one you like best! We are getting ready for our trip to Myrtle Beach. I can't wait; it's been a while since we have taken a vacation. It ought to be quite interesting with the twins and my daughter. My daughter will turn 6 while we are there! I can't believe it; my how time flies, doesn't it. I hope you and your families are all well. I hope you enjoy these cards too! Until next time............. ~
